Genesis Chapter Five-Eight-The Flood

 We covered quite a few chapters this Sunday, so the Bible story took up most of the morning. Instead of just one scene, we showed the whole story in a series of scenes. From God telling Noah to build the ark, to the long wait on the ark, to finally leaving the ark, we saw that God was the one who saved Noah and his family. There was nothing Noah could have done on his own; the entire plan came from God and He was the one who kept them safe.

 Andrew the frilled lizard and Molly the otter came on after the Bible story and talked about their plans to go sky diving. Molly had her parachute ready but Andrew insisted he didn't need anything. He would help himself. Sherry explained that this was silly, and kind of like the people. The people can't save themselves either; God is the one who saves us.
