This week, the tour group learned all about water and how important it was to the Egyptians, specifically the water from the Nile river. The Egyptians worshipped the Nile and relied on it for everything. The Nile river was their source of life.

Moses and Aaron went back to Pharaoh today and once again told him that God wanted Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. Pharaoh demanded a sign of God's power and so Moses put down his staff, which turned into a snake. Unimpressed, Pharaoh's magicians also turned their staffs into snakes. Even after Moses' snake ate the two smaller snakes, Pharaoh still didn't care and sent them away. God sent Moses to the Nile and told him to put his staff in the water. The Nile turned to blood, as well as any water in the land. God was showing the Egyptians that He alone is the source of life. But Pharaoh hardened his heart even more.

One of the tourists, Nata, was feeling sad and scared because her twin, Lee, was in the other tour group. Nata and Lee have never been separated before now and so Nata was feeling very upset. To try and cheer up, she sniffed some flowers but she was allergic and started to have a very bad reaction. Mark and his brother Jackson found her and tried to help her, but nothing was working. Finally, Amelia came on and gave Nata the pill that she needed, to deal with the allergic reaction. Amelia explained that Nata relies on her twin for everything and that's just like us with God. We need God for everything, even life! God takes care of us and provides everything for us.

Rocky the coyote and Amelia then learned a verse together, John 14:6 "Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
