Things were tense in Egypt as Amelia led the group through Goshen. Pharoah's guards were looking for Hebrew baby boys so they could throw them in the Nile river, which was Pharoah's next evil plan. The group went from hiding place to hiding place and the famous actress, Casey Bonikowsky, began to panic because the situation wasn't safe at all. But her body guard was with her, so she relied on him to keep her safe. However, Pharaoh's guards found them and when Casey's bodyguard tried to fight them off, they arrested him and took him away for questioning.

Casey's protection was gone and she began to panic again. Amelia and Sherry calmed her down, explaining that we shouldn't rely on situations or other things to keep us safe. God is the one who keeps us safe and so we need to rely on Him. Even though the situation was a dangerous and scary one, Casey needed to rely on God. Casey somewhat understood and just then, a young girl named Miriam found the group. She led the entire group to her home, where her mother was with a baby boy.

The mother, Jochabed, had been keeping her baby hidden for a few months but he was getting too big to hide. So, trusting God, she put her baby in a basket and put him in the Nile river. Though this seemed like the most dangerous thing to do, Jochabed trusted God and God took care of the baby. The basket floated right up to Pharaoh's palace and the princess of Egypt found him. She decided to raise him as her own son and named him Moses. So God kept Moses safe, despite all the deadly situations he was in.

To explain this better, Sherry let the group build sugar cube towers, to represent the other things we trust to protect us. Then Sherry poured water over them and they all fell apart and disolved. No matter how well the towers were built, they all got destroyed. Then Sherry built a rock tower and no matter how much water she poured over it, it stood firm. The rock tower is like God. He is our strong tower, and our refuge.  He provides our protection; not our circumstances.

To finish up, Amelia found an old friend of hers, a coyote named Rocky. He was scared of Pharaoh's guards but Amelia explained about God keeping us safe. To help Rocky remember this, they learnt a memory verse about it, and Casey swept in to help them learn it in a more dramatic way.

The adventure continues next week!
